About the Farm
Barn on the Hill is an active agricultural property in Licking County, supporting a variety of farm operations including cattle, beekeeping, flower and vegetable gardens, a wildflower field, and a greenhouse. Each season brings new growth and purpose, contributing to the ongoing stewardship of the land.
Our focus remains on maintaining a productive and sustainable farm environment while creating opportunities to share that experience with others in a thoughtful and responsible way.

Spanning more than 35 acres in Thornville, Ohio, Barn on the Hill offers a diverse agricultural landscape with scenic views, open pastures, and thoughtfully maintained spaces. From the flower gardens to the pond and surrounding fields, every part of the property contributes to the working farm environment.
Located just 40 minutes from Columbus and minutes from Buckeye Lake, the farm remains both accessible and peacefully removed—an ideal setting for experiencing the rhythm of rural life.

These include seasonal farm markets, educational workshops, and small-scale gatherings that highlight locally produced goods and the work of regional farmers and makers. The Bazaar at the Barn

Our monthly farm market brings together eight local farms and producers (including ours) offering fresh produce, baked goods, handmade items, and other farm-based products. This initiative supports small agricultural businesses by providing a welcoming space for them to share their goods directly with the community.
